IMO CHIEF OF STAFF ENCOURAGES NYSC MEMBERS POSTED IN THE STATE

National Youth Service Corps members posted to the State are told to concentrate on capacity building.

The Chief of Staff Government House, Chief Uche Nwosu said this when he commissioned a community Development Service Project built by Mr. Olaoye Damilola at the Imo State Zoological Garden Nekede.

Chief Nwosu commended Mr. Damilola for a job well done and advised other Youth Corp members on how to live in a social environment with dignity.

He urged them to be careful in making decisions pertaining to their career and to put in their best in all they do to achieve success.

Chief Nwosu applauded the staff and management of Imo Zoological Garden for the transportation exercise in place while calling on them to support the present administration in the State.

The Mayor of Owerri Zone, Mr. Chidi Nwaturuocha noted that Corps members had made meaningful contributions to the nation’s industrial development and commended Mr. Damilola for his efforts and encouraged others to emulate him.

The benefactor, Mr. Olaoye Dmailola said he embarked on the renovation and reactivation of dilapidated and abandoned piggery unit of the zoo to complement the good work of the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and praised Chief Uche Nwosu for his support to NYSC members in the State.

The highlight of the occasion was a merit award conferred on Mr. Damilola by the Chief of Staff.
